◯366 days project
毎日、戦争と平和について考えるタイミングを持つという意味で、毎日１回SNSを通じて１日に１つずつスタンプが増えていく作品の様子を発信しています。
In order to give people a chance to think about war and peace every day, that use SNS once a day to share information about this work, which is increasing by one stamp each day.
この作品を作ったのは、ある年の夏に自分が原爆や戦争についてこのタイミングしか強く意識していないことを強烈に感じたからです。
日本では毎年、夏になると戦争の問題意識が高まります。その度にメディアで伝えられる戦争体験者の方々の話「二度と、戦争をしてはならない。」
そのタイミングが終わると戦争の話はほぼなくなります。その次に意識するのは、また来年。こんな大事なことなのに。
一年間毎日、例え世界中が平和になろうとも、永遠にそれは意識するべきなのではないか。
そうでなければ、また繰り返すのではないか。まずは自分自身が、毎日それを意識するよう努めよう。
その思いで、一年中毎日意識するという意味を込めて、366 日(閏年も考慮)のうちすべての 366 日、という意味で 366/366 の文字を入れました。
尚、広島、長崎と入れたものの、原爆投下や日本の戦争だけを問うているのではなく、世界中すべての戦争と平和について考えるという意味を持っています。
I created this work because one summer, I strongly felt that I was only conscious of the atomic bomb and war at this particular moment. Every summer in Japan, awareness of the issue of war increases.
Each time the media reports stories from people who have experienced war, they say, "We must never go to war again."
Once that timing is over, there will be almost no talk of war. The next thing to think about is next year. Even though it's such an important thing.
Every day for a year, even if the world becomes peaceful, we should be conscious of this forever.
If not, repeat again. First of all, try to be aware of this yourself every day.
I created this message with that thought in mind.
With this in mind, I included the letters "366/366" to mean all 366 days out of 366 days (including leap years), and to mean being conscious of every day of the year.
This includes Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but the issue is not just about the atomic bombing or Japan's war, but about all wars and peace in the world.
